The company has dozens of injection molding machines with capacity from 80T to 2800T, and has multiple imported injection molding equipment, such as Germany DEMAG, Japan Steel Works (JSW), etc. All machines are equipped with dehumidifying dryers, mold temperature machines and other supporting equipment to meet the production requirements of difficult and demanding plastic cement products.

Principle of gas assisted injection molding (GAIM)

Gas-assisted injection molding (GAIM) technology is a revolutionary invention of modern injection molding. The advanced injection molding technology directly injects high-pressure nitrogen into the molding parts in the mold cavity through the gas-assisted master controller (segmented pressure control system), in this way, the interior of the molding parts expands to form hollowness, but still keeps the surface and appearance of the product intact. 

 

Advantages of gas assisted injection molding (GAIM)

   ● Save plastic cement raw materials up to 40%.

   ● Solve the problem of shrinkage mark on the product surface.

   ● Shorten the production cycle of the products. (As the weight of the plastic products is reduced, the plasticizing time and the cooling time of the products are relatively reduced, therefore, the entire production cycle is also shortened, up to 30%.)

   ● Reduce the internal stress of the products so that the products will not deform.

   ● Simplify the complicated design of the products. (Reducing the investment costs in mold manufacturing)

   ● Reduce the pressure in the mold cavity, therefore, reduce the wear of the mold and improve the service life of the mold.

   ● Improve the service life of the injection molding machine, and reduce the investment costs of the injection molding machine.

   ● Reduce the mold clamping pressure of the injection molding machine up to 50%. (The gas-assisted system can provide high-pressure gas for pressurizing, so the mold clamping pressure of the injection molding machine can be greatly reduced)

   ● Reduce the power consumption of the injection molding machine. (Owing to the decrease in the mold clamping force of the injection molding machine and the shortened production cycle of the products, the power consumption is reduced).

   ● Reduce the investment costs of mold development. (The simplification of the products’ complicated design reduces the investment costs of mold manufacturing; the reduction of mold clamping pressure reduces the wear of the mold.)
 
 
Cost-benefit calculation

1.Save plastics: Applying gas-assisted injection molding technology to form hollowness inside the products, in this way, up to 50% of plastics can be saved.

2.The production cycle of plastic products is shortened: Owing to the reduction in weight of plastic products, the plasticizing time and the cooling time of the products are relatively reduced, and the entire production cycle is also shortened, up to 30%.

3.Reduce the investing costs in injection molding machines: As the gas-assisted system can provide high pressure gas for pressurizing, the mold clamping pressure of the injection molding machine can be greatly reduced, up to 60%.

4.Reduce the investment costs in mold manufacturing: It can avoid the complicated technology and design of traditional manufacturing molds, so that the mold manufacturing time can be shortened. For some products, aluminum can be used to make molds. In addition, owing to the reduced mold clamping pressure, the wear of the molds is also reduced.
